東京を拠点に活動するDJ／プロデューサー。
テクノ、ベースミュージック、ブレイクス、ジューク／フットワークを行き来しながら、4つ打ちの推進力とブロークンなリズムフォームを、低域の圧力、リズムの推進力、レイヴのエネルギーによって接続するDJスタイルを展開している。ひとつのジャンルに縛られるのではなく、東京の洗練された都市感覚を、ダンスフロアにおけるアップリフティングな身体的解放感へと変換している。
2012年には、東京を拠点とするクラブミュージック・レーベル／コレクティブ〈TREKKIE TRAX〉を共同設立。「日本の音楽を世界に」というスローガンのもと、国内外のアーティストによるリリースを手がけ、ベースミュージック、ハウス、テクノ、ジューク／フットワーク、ヒップホップ、ポップなど、ジャンルや国境を横断する日本発のクラブミュージックを国際的なシーンへと接続してきた。レーベル作品はSkrillex、Diplo、A-Trak、Ben UFO、Four Tet、SHERELLE、Gilles Petersonなど幅広いDJ／アーティストからサポートを受け、Fuji Rock Festival、ULTRA JAPAN、SXSWなど国内外のフェスティバルやイベントにも出演している。
Seimei個人としては、TREKKIE TRAX CREWのメンバーとしての活動に加え、DJ／プロデューサーとしてソロでも活動。2014年からはアメリカ・サンフランシスコに拠点を移し、現地のクラブシーンでのDJ出演や、PC Music初の北米ツアーでのサポート出演などを経験。帰国後もRinse FM、NTS、The Lot Radioなどの国際的なプラットフォームでミックスを発表するなど、国内外を横断した活動を続けている。
プロデューサーとしては、2021年にカナダの〈WET TRAX〉より初のソロアルバム『A Diary From The Crossing』をリリース。2022年には〈TREKKIE TRAX〉からミニアルバム『The Truth Of The Myth』を発表し、2024年にはニューヨークの〈Sorry Records〉より『Tokyo Funky Breaks EP』をリリース。同作はDJ MagおよびMixmagでプレミア公開されるなど、海外メディアからも注目を集めた。2025年にはUKの〈Clasico Records〉によるコンピレーション『Superclásico, Vol. 2』に“Switch It Up”で参加し、さらに〈TREKKIE TRAX〉より、USプロデューサーJIALINGを客演に迎えた“In the Air”を含む4曲入りEP『Above The City』をリリース。アップリフティングでクラブにフォーカスしたテクノを軸に、機能性と東京の明るく都市的なエネルギーを結びつけた作品として、自身の現在のサウンドをさらに押し広げた。
DJ、プロデューサー、そしてTREKKIE TRAXの共同設立者／A&Rとして、Seimeiは日本のクラブミュージックの現在地を国内外へ提示し続けている。

Seimei is a Tokyo-based DJ, producer, and co-founder / A&R of TREKKIE TRAX, a club music label and collective he helped launch in 2012.
As a DJ, Seimei moves between techno, bass music, breaks, and juke/footwork, connecting four-on-the-floor momentum with broken rhythmic forms through low-end pressure, driving rhythm, and rave energy. Rather than being tied to a single genre, his sound channels Tokyo’s polished urban sensibility into an uplifting sense of physical release on the dancefloor.
Through both his solo work and his role within TREKKIE TRAX, Seimei has played a central role in connecting Japanese club music with international audiences.
Since its founding, TREKKIE TRAX has released a wide range of music by artists from Japan and abroad, spanning bass music, house, techno, juke/footwork, hip-hop, pop, and beyond. The label’s music has received support from artists and DJs including Skrillex, Diplo, A-Trak, Ben UFO, Four Tet, SHERELLE, and Gilles Peterson, and its artists have appeared at major festivals and events including Fuji Rock Festival, ULTRA JAPAN, and SXSW.
In 2014, Seimei relocated to San Francisco, where he performed across local club scenes and supported PC Music’s first North American tour. After returning to Japan, he continued to build connections across international club music, with appearances and mixes for platforms including Rinse FM, NTS, and The Lot Radio.
As a producer, Seimei released his debut solo album A Diary From The Crossing on Canadian label WET TRAX in 2021, followed by the mini-album The Truth Of The Myth on TREKKIE TRAX in 2022. In 2024, he released Tokyo Funky Breaks EP on New York-based Sorry Records, with premieres from DJ Mag and Mixmag. In 2025, he contributed “Switch It Up” to Superclásico, Vol. 2, a compilation from UK label Clasico Records, before returning to TREKKIE TRAX with Above The City, a four-track EP built around uplifting, club-focused techno and featuring US producer JIALING on the lead track “In the Air.”
Through his DJ sets, productions, and work with TREKKIE TRAX, Seimei continues to present a forward-facing vision of Japanese club music to audiences in Japan and around the world.
