Endless Rise / Submerge

1. Endless Rise
2. Submerge

Released: 2026/10/16

東京を拠点に活動するSeimei(セイメイ)と、横浜を拠点に活動するCarpainter(カーペインター)。

Seimei, based in Tokyo, and Carpainter, based in Yokohama. The two are brothers, and together they founded the dance music label TREKKIE TRAX. Their joint release, “Endless Rise / Submerge,” arrives on TREKKIE TRAX on Friday, October 16, 2026.

Seimei is a DJ and producer whose work moves across techno, bass music, breaks and juke/footwork, with releases on international labels including WET TRAX and Clasico Records. He has continued to pursue a club sound of his own, one that answers to no single genre or scene.

Carpainter, meanwhile, has earned a strong following at home and abroad for productions rooted in techno and bass music, with a string of releases on overseas labels such as LuckyMe and Mad Decent. His work reaches well beyond the club, including co-writing and co-arranging “EXCITE” for Daichi Miura.

The two first discovered dance music in 2006. “Endless Rise / Submerge” is a two-track double single made in 2026, the year that marks two decades since.

Seimei and Carpainter grew up in the same house, fell for dance music at the same time, each began working as a DJ and producer, and eventually built a label together. Over twenty years of listening to, making and playing an enormous amount of dance music, the pair have brought the rush that sits at the root of it all together with their sense of where club music stands today, and the result is “Endless Rise / Submerge.”

“Endless Rise” is an exhilarating, emotional anthem that calls to mind 90s Japanese techno and uplifting euro trance. Synth chords and melodies climb without ever seeming to stop, generating an overwhelming lift, while a raw, heavily distorted TB-303 acid line tears through the middle of it. For all its nostalgic glow, the track is no simple revival: it carries the weight and drive of something built to be played in a club right now, and traces the endless ascent its title promises.

“Submerge,” its counterpart, is a dark, aggressive club track that fuses the muscular four-on-the-floor groove of hard techno and hard house with the feel of UK bass music, speed garage above all. A huge lead that drives the floor forward, hard-edged drums, and a Reese bass that rolls like something sinking deep underwater stack up in layer after layer, pulling the body itself inside the sound. Where “Endless Rise” is bright and open, this one presents the current Seimei and Carpainter club sound from a darker, more physical angle.

Two tracks pointing in opposite directions, holding twenty years of music the brothers have shared — from the boyhood moment in 2006 when they found dance music, through founding TREKKIE TRAX, to where they stand now as DJs and producers working across club scenes in Japan and beyond.

Not nostalgia for the past, but their own roots updated for the floor as it is today. “Endless Rise / Submerge” is a record only Seimei and Carpainter could have made after twenty years of chasing dance music side by side — one that connects past, present, and whatever comes next.
