東京在住のzene（ゼネ）と大阪在住のU-koh（ユーコー）によるプロデューサーデュオ「64controll（ロクヨンコントロール）」の新作EP『Turn It Up EP（ターン イット アップ イーピー）』が、日本を代表するダンスミュージックレーベル〈TREKKIE TRAX〉より2026年10月2日（金）にリリースされた。
64controllは2017年に結成。Juke / Footworkに根ざしたアプローチを軸に楽曲制作を行い、日本全国でDJとしても精力的に活動している。また、ポップデュオDaXxとのコラボレーションプロジェクト「64DX」など、ジャンルを横断した活動でも注目を集めてきた。2025年には〈TREKKIE TRAX〉より『Bunbun Chopper EP』をリリース。同作がBen UFOによってヘビープレイされたことをきっかけに海外でも大きな反響を呼び、その後もA-TrakをはじめとするトップDJから継続的なサポートを受けている。
〈TREKKIE TRAX〉から3作目となる本作『Turn It Up EP』は、これまでの64controllの作品の中でも、最もテンションの高いバンガーにフォーカスした一作だ。
表題曲「Turn It Up（ターン イット アップ）」は、Jersey Club特有のビートパターンと、Bubblingを象徴するサイレンシンセを細かくカットアップしながら組み合わせた、64controll史上最も攻撃的ともいえるトラック。目まぐるしく切り替わるリズムと鋭いサウンドが、フロアのテンションを一気に引き上げる。
「Flash（フラッシュ）」では、Raveを象徴するHooverサウンドとBaltimore Clubのビートパターンを融合。派手な音色を使用しながらも構成そのものはミニマルに抑えることで、クラブでの機能性を追求した64controllらしい一曲に仕上がっている。
続く「RN（ライナウ）」は、「Turn It Up」で提示されたアイデアの続編ともいえる楽曲。Jersey Clubのスイッチ感を意識した展開を軸に、後半ではシンセサイザーがコーラスのようにレイヤーされていく。コミカルな質感とキャッチーさを併せ持つ、予測不能な展開が印象的な一曲だ。
さらに本作には、「Turn It Up」を3者それぞれの視点から再構築したリミックスも収録されている。
アメリカ・ボルチモアを拠点に活動する「Kade Young（ケイド ヤング）」は、JIALINGらとともにBaltimore Clubの新世代を牽引するコレクティブ／レーベル〈WOE〉を運営するプロデューサー。2026年にはUKの〈Local Action〉よりEP『Gravity』を発表するなど、その活動をさらに広げている。本作では原曲のエネルギーを、ダークかつストイックなクラブトラックへと変化させた。
サンフランシスコ・ベイエリアを拠点に活動する「RITCHRD（リチャード）」は、2020年にスタートしたインディペンデントレーベル／ナイトライフシリーズ〈NO BIAS〉のファウンダー。自身の作品を〈NO BIAS〉や〈Clasico〉などから発表し、ベイエリアのアンダーグラウンド・クラブシーンを支える存在として活動している。今回のリミックスでは、原曲に含まれるBubblingの要素をさらに拡張し、よりグルーヴィーで跳ねるような解釈へと仕上げている。
そして〈TREKKIE TRAX〉共同設立者でもある東京拠点のDJ／プロデューサー「Seimei（セイメイ）」は、Techno、Bass Music、Breaks、Juke / Footworkなどを横断するサウンドで国内外に活動を広げてきた。本リミックスでは、自身の特徴でもある硬質なTechnoの質感を用いながら、それをDubstepのフォーマットへと落とし込むことに挑戦している。
三者三様のアプローチによって、原曲の持つ攻撃性は異なる方向へと押し広げられている。

64controll deliver their hardest-hitting record yet with the new “Turn It Up EP”
“Turn It Up EP,” the new EP from 64controll, the producer duo of Tokyo-based zene and Osaka-based U-koh, was released on TREKKIE TRAX on Friday, October 2, 2026.
Formed in 2017, 64controll build their productions around an approach rooted in Juke and Footwork, and are active as DJs throughout Japan. They have also drawn attention for work that cuts across genres, including “64DX,” a collaborative project with pop duo DaXx. In 2025 they released “Bunbun Chopper EP” on TREKKIE TRAX; heavy play from Ben UFO sparked a significant response overseas, and they have since received continued support from leading DJs including A-Trak.
Their third release on TREKKIE TRAX, “Turn It Up EP” is the most relentlessly high-energy, banger-focused record in the duo’s catalogue to date.
The title track “Turn It Up” combines the rhythmic signatures of Jersey Club with finely chopped siren synths drawn from Bubbling, arguably the most aggressive track 64controll have ever made. Its rapid-fire rhythmic switches and razor-sharp sound design lift a dancefloor instantly.
“Flash” fuses the Hoover sound of Rave with Baltimore Club drum patterns. For all its flamboyant textures, the arrangement itself stays deliberately minimal, resulting in a track built for club functionality in classic 64controll fashion.
“RN” plays as a sequel to the ideas laid out in “Turn It Up.” Built around the switch-ups characteristic of Jersey Club, its second half layers synthesizers like a chorus. Comic in texture yet undeniably catchy, it is a track defined by unpredictable turns.
The EP also features three remixes of “Turn It Up,” each rebuilding the original from a different perspective.
Baltimore-based Kade Young is a producer who, alongside JIALING and others, runs WOE, a collective and label driving the new generation of Baltimore Club. In 2026 he widened his reach further with the “Gravity” EP on UK label Local Action. Here he transforms the original’s energy into a dark, stripped-back club track.
San Francisco Bay Area-based RITCHRD is the founder of NO BIAS, an independent label and nightlife series launched in 2020. Releasing his own work on NO BIAS, Clasico and elsewhere, he is a mainstay of the Bay Area underground club scene. His remix expands the Bubbling elements within the original into a groovier, bouncier reading.
Seimei the Tokyo-based DJ and producer, and a co-founder of TREKKIE TRAX, has built a profile at home and abroad with a sound spanning Techno, Bass Music, Breaks and Juke/Footwork. For this remix he takes the hard-edged Techno textures he is known for and works them into a Dubstep framework.
Between them, the three approaches push the original’s aggression in three different directions.
