This release is an international collaboration between the label’s core producer unit TREKKIE TRAX CREW, globally acclaimed New York–based producer umru, and fellow NYC artist nextdimensional, known for his dreamy yet emotionally charged electronic sound. The track also features rapper Nakamura Minami, whose distinctive voice and lyrical presence add powerful momentum to the song.

TREKKIE TRAX CREW comprised of andrew, Carpainter, futatsuki and Seimei, has been connecting Japanese club music to the global scene since the label’s founding in 2012. Meanwhile, umru is widely recognized as one of the defining producers of the hyperpop and contemporary electronic movement following PC Music, leaving a strong global impression through his sharp, high-energy sound design and key production work with artists such as Charli XCX. nextdimensional, emerging from the New York underground, has built a unique sonic world that blends glitch, breaks, and rave sensibilities. “Open! feat. Nakamura Minami” originated from a studio session held during umru and nextdimensional’s visit to Japan. During the production period, a daytime visit to a local park by all members became a major source of inspiration, out of which Minami Nakamura wrote the lyrics. The song was developed through an intensely physical and organic process: from its early stages, it was repeatedly tested in DJ sets, with its structure and progression refined based on real-time floor reactions. The track was shaped and polished through direct club experience.

Sonically, the track is a high-purity electro banger, driven by aggressive beats and bass, striking stab phrases, and psychedelic, glitch-laden arrangements.
